WIARD Promotions seeks to become the recognised leader in the creation and distribution of online media content tailored for the East Midlands and intends to build communities around its content. The industry that WIARD Promotions intends to create is the ‘integrated leisure and entertainment’ industry. What this translates as provision of leisure and entertainment, enriched by online value added services. The value added services are provided by the WIARDWeb and FM sites.

The core markets for our services are young people which include university undergraduates and students at local schools and colleges. A key philosophy of the organisation is that young people can be empowered by sharing knowledge and creative expression with the wider community through the arts. The WIARDWeb site is platform through which this sharing can be achieved. The organisation aims to work in tandem with key partners from the public, private and social enterprise sector in order to facilitate the creation, and distribution, of new media through ever enlarging social network whilst reaching common goals.

WIARD Promotions is a believer in pioneering new technologies and concepts, and will actively seek to embrace new technologies and provide innovations that will provide value to all shareholders. The organisation believes that through extensive marketing and strong customer relationship management new opportunities can be more effectively recognised

WIARD Promotions seeks to encourage members of the community to participate in the WIARDWeb and FM projects with the incentive of providing personal development and gaining skills via work experience. The organisation seeks to help make members of the community more viable for employment especially in the areas of new media, marketing and technology. Possible stakeholders include: educational institutions, government bodies (local, national, and European level), businesses (local and regional), young people, students and their parents.
